Talk about stuck in traffic. OMG! There's no relief at all. Here we can get off of the freeway and find a side street ....not in NY. Every street was jammed.

This was the perfect way to end our trip. The Hudson River, watching the sun go down and seeing the lights from the building were like Christmas lights...breath taking.

Now after the boat cruise...for the life of us we could not hail a cab so we took the subway.

New York - Day 2 - May 15, 2014 - TIME SQUARE and FOOOOD!

Still on California (PST) time ... we got up and headed to TIME SQUARE BABY!!!

Imagine: Las Vegas Blvd + Downtown L.A. (The Alley...) + Hollywood and Highland = Time Square

It's so LIVE and active, never a dull moment, EVER NEVER!

Sooo, we're roaming around, we were starving, we found a familiar face: Nick Lachey! Yayyy! No? You don't know who he is. Well he was married to Jessica Simpson and was apart of 98 degrees during the splash of the boy band era in the late 90's.

New York - Day 2 - Empire State of Mind!

So the Empire State building was not that exciting, I think I was more excited about actually being in this place that I've heard of my entire life. We've seen it in movies countless times, countless pictures...and now we're here!!! or was there!

Empire State building is all about the View out and view down. I love heights anyway.

Escargot is actually delicious. This is my second time and Porscha's first and she liked them.

Sorry our Selfie lighting SUCKED so we have to deal with a little blur.

sEAFOOD pASTA - The broth was bliss.

The only time I came close to eating healthy. Salmon, asparagus and roasted potatoes

New York - Our Room

Hotel Mela  - So the whole entire time we were calling it Mee - la but it's Mail - La.  which means apple in Italian and they have free red apples at the front desk.

The Room...and it was so tiny.

But at least everything was really clean....even the bathroom as it should be.

They used some H20 products for shampoo and soap. That was aweful, it smelled like peppermint and something else, I don't know, couldn't put my finger on it.

oh and all of the desk clerks were men and they were all cute :-)

I have definitely been hit by the vacation bug ever since I let Hawaii bless me!

Now, I want to go EVERYWHERE!!!

New York for sure has a place in my heart and I can't wait to go back.

Soooo Jet Blue wasn't bad at all. They're equiped with great leg space and your very own television with basic cable and that's in coach.
