It honestly seems like he's using the media & public exposure to pressure/coerce her back into the relationship. More like demanding than pleading. ~TY... and tho this is a nice song, I LOVE it, I do but he is trying to make himself look like the victim. For a mili-second I had that "Awwww Robin" moment but then I was like NO!

There is some sincerity there tho...hey who knows they could be at home snuggling up together fooling the world. Who knows?
But creating a beautiful song doesn't gain trust or undo what has been done and sure as heck don't mend a broken heart.

On a serious note....
Trust, Loyalty, and love are all earned. You dont just get them just because you're a good person or a great song writer. What is it about you that makes people want to be loyal? What is it that makes your love worth it? You don't cheat? Cool. You tell the truth? Great... Doing right is the standard and though it's appreciated, you don't get extra credit for it....But what else... Can you heal, inspire, teach? I just believe there's more to being a "Good One" than just being a good person... your presence should improve things. Your energy should inspire. If we're going to be close, we should be making each other better!
